In the state of California, the US Census compiled a data on the 6.3 marriages. The data was taken for 1995-1997.

Here is a breakdown of Asian men and women marriages:

Asian husbands marry the following spouses:

White wives-6.6%

Black wives-0.1%

Asian wives-90.6%

Latina wives-2.6%

Other (no race specified) wives-0.0%

White husbands-13.9%

Black husbands-1.1%

Asian husbands-83.5%

Latino husbands-1.4%

Other (no race specified) husbands-0.1%

So, 7.1% of Asian women in California more than Asian men outmarry.

Both genders who outmarry usually have an Anglo white spouse. But, Asian women are more receptive to black men while Asian men are more receptive to Latina women.

I must add that for Latina women in California, their spouses go as follows:

White husbands-13.7%

Black husbands-0.5%

Asian husbands-1.1%

Latino husbands-84.4%

Other (no race specified) husbands-0.3%

Like Asian women, most Latina women intermarry with white guys.

I am sure the dating/mating/having children out of wedlock rates are the same.

Some people label Latina women as "the next white girls."

They are getting a lot of attention from men of other races.

So, for Asian guys, I just got to say that yes and no, your chances with a Latina girl. Yes, because I do notice that they pay us more attention than other races women. No, because since they have so many pick of men that in no way will it be easy to find them available and not taken. It will take longer and requires patience and assertiveness.

Of the Latina nationalities,

It seems that Puerto Rican chicks dig black men more.

Mexican, El Salvadorean and Guatemalan girls are more receptive to Asian guys. And, I had some Asian friends from the east coast studying here at UCLA tell me the Latin women in California look more beautiful than the ones in East Coast.

Is it because Mexican and Central American women are more closer to the Asian looks and taste or what?

In my case I like the Mexican girls of all. I like the Mextiza look.

Mexican women in Mexico are just as good looking as the ones in the USA. They even dress better and more sexy. Every holiday, I drive down across the border for a drink or two. I was cheering with them during the World Cup. They are hella fine and delicious.

A plus that Asian guys have is that most Latino parents (from my experiences, Mexican and Central Americans) have no problems or are very well tuned to the idea of their daughters dating Asian guys. This is one advantage that Asian guys have over black guys (maybe even whites) in most cases. Asian guys have good images among Latinos in Latin America as well as here.

All it just takes is for the fine Latinas to return and reciprocate that love.

I don't know if I should go for her, but I do have feelings for her.

She was going out with someone before meeting me. I don't if it was because I got money and because I am Asian.

But, I had a deep talk with her. She said that she was only going with the guy for one or two months and had no "deep" connections with him yet. And, she said that many people her age in the Mexican community only be with people they may not love or trust completely only because of the fear of loneliness factor.

Now, I don't want to feel like the bad guy here. But, if what she say is true, then I will go for her. Whenever I see and talk with this girl, my mind goes crazy.

Love and life itself is crazy. It's like a gamble. You will never win until you have tried.

Communication wise, I think it is way easier for Asian guys to click with Latina women. Both groups are more direct in communication than compared to whites who are more informal. I just say what I want to say with Mexican girls and they understand. But, with white girls, you worry whether they will like it or get mad over a wrong choice of words.

Anyways, I once went with some co-workers to Chinatown for lunch. Many of these co-workers were young Anglo and Mexican/Central American females. When we walked around, some young Chinese and Vietnamese guys flirted with the ladies. Some white females ignored them and didn't take it too well, but the Latina ladies loved it.

Also, I don't like this as a comparison but will mention it anyway. In Japan, there are some high priced prostitutes from around the world. When asked about the love making techniques of Japanese men, the white women were not as attentive. In fact, one Russian woman said she did not appreciate the oral sex of Japanese guys and found it too disgusting. But, one Argentinian woman said that although Japanese guys are horny, their love making skills feels "good."

I think that is a sign that Latina women tend to find Asian men more attractive than white women do in general.

It is all in the mind, and yes, we have to admit that race does matter.

I think more Asian guys are appreciative of Latinas now, probably more so than white women. We have always thought that Latina women are the best looking, but some Asian guys in the past pursued white women because of the status thing. I think we should go for the ones we truly desire.

I was going to visit my boyfriend in Miami. He ended up going to see his abuelito in Nueva York. So we are just gonna have friends over and cook the lechon y pollo ahumado. Then maybe go to the fireworks display on the river. We may watch it from our boat if its not too close this time.

I just had it out with two of my aunts and a cousin yesterday. When they came over they refused to take off their shoes and place them on the mat by the front door. Instead, they went tracking mud stains and dirty footprints throughout our floors and the white carpet in the livingroom! I was so mad at them I could have screamed! They told my mother later that Lo and I are obsessive shoe freaks. My aunt told my mother,"They are taking the chinese thing way too far?" I feel like they don't have any respect for my husband or me. Its frustrating!
