I think you should really think about your own feelings and his too. I can't really say too much. I honestly don't know what it is like to have a family that doesn't except interracial relationships. I do think my family would have been upset if I had brought home a white man instead. I do wish you the best though. I hope everything works out for you. I think its great how you want to get an education and better yourself :)

statistics can be easily distorted and manipulated depending on which ideas a person wishes to push. i've given a number of speeches and found it very easy to twist the numbers.
we know who we are,
yeah, i've noticed that. the *typical* ultimate asian guy fantasy is the big breasted blonde or the light skinned latina. i hear about it all the time from my buddies. i tell them to be more open minded but they think im a little unusual, b/c i find middle eastern and indian women incredibly beautiful. (maternal family is from india) oh and also women of the amazon. not that white women or the penelope cruz's of the world aren't attractive as well but im just not that easily charmed by blonde hair, big tits or the 'IN' look at the moment. but in the end, hair/skin color, height, weight, or whatever doesnt matter. all women are beautiful.

I have experienced that too. Before talking to me, people will think that I am a White Female most of the time, unless they see me with my dad and brother. They have really dark hair, but their eyes are grey like mine.
From my own experience the black men seem to go after 'morenitas' instead of Euro/PR. At least thats what it seems like.

It's true. Yes, I have seen some Puerto Rican chicks who can pass for Spaniard. Even more so among the unmixed Cubans.
And, there are some Puerto Ricans who also look Mexican and Central American (Mextizo).
But, most Puerto Ricans I come across look like Mextizo-black (mulattoes).
Not that it matters, but I always thought of Latinas as the Mextizo types.

There is a variety of spanish speaking women. Not everyone thinks, acts, dresses, looks or even lives the same. The same goes for Asian Men. Not all of them have the very same thoughts feelings or actions either.
It is illogical to say that everyone is the same.

Alot of people tell me that I look alot like Salma Hayek, except my hair is straighter and longer. I take it as a compliment because I think shes pretty.
I am getting ready to go to Texas to see my cousins. Does anyone know what its like there? I will be staying there for 2 weeks. I hope its fun.

I agree with you. I am Puerto Rican. My eyes are green and my hair is naturally a dark blond color, and my skin is light. Alot of people are surprised when I speak in spanish.
