I had once written her a poem, but she never wrote me back. This was over 3 months ago.

Today, I ran into her again on campus. I could not recognize her and she probably could not recognize me either.

I just wanted to pass out a flier to her and we talked. Looking into her eyes and by her telling me that she works in that same library made me suddenly realize it was this same girl again!!!

I found out some things about her, including that she lives not too far in an eastern part of Los Angeles near a cemetary where 3 of my grandparents are buried.

Yes, I now know her name, got her address, phone number and email.

How I tell her that she was the one I wrote a poem to is hard...Maybe she already knows it's me???

I know there is a chance...

People might confuse you as "white?"
Maybe you are. Do you have any Indian or black blood in you? If your'e just Italian and Spanish then you are white.
A "white Hispanic".
Most of Argentinians and Uruguay are white. Only two countries in Latin America. The term "latin" or "Hispanic" refers to a CULTURE and NOT RACE, therefore you can have Hispanics of all races, white, black, mestizos, even Asian.

One of my friends who is Native American studied for a half year in Argentina while I studied in Italy. She had some great things to say about the country. I hope to visit within the next 3 years.

Hey Xuxa!!! Big shot-out from your neighbor---Uruguay!! I am a Latina dating a Korean. My family is from Uruguay and I was born there but came to the States at the age of 2. Although most people here confuse me for being white because I have light brown hair and green eyes (my heritage is from Spain and Italy.) But I've always found Asian men to be so damn sexy! Especially Koreans! Me encantan, che!!! That's why I got me one too!! Lots of Love from "El Uru!!" And yes..the first time my boyfriend saw me drinking mate he flipped! He thought it was an elaborate bong!LOL!!

Not that many, the only one where I've seen a latino-asian couple, is a Quentin Tarantino movie (I forgot the title) where the husband is antonio banderas and the wife is that girl from karate kid 2.

There aren't that many places in the States where asians and latinos commute, and TV shows and movies are based on everyday stuff that viewers can relate to. Seeing an asian-latino couple isn't something that is common, so people wouldn't realte so much to this.

When I'm on a date with a latina or any other girl, I never paid much atention around me to notice that there's somebody staring at us, all of my attention goes on the date, so I wouldn't be able to tell you if people around like or dislike what they see, and to be honest; who cares, that's the daters business not theirs. Also since I speak fluent spanish (w/ south american accent) so when I'm introduced to other latinos we always end up getting along, so there hasn't been any hostilities coming from latinos at all, and I haven't noticed many koreans having negative opinions and stereotypes about latinos either, so I doubt things could heat up.

Haven't noticed that yet, cuz I truly don't care what others think about it. But I guess they would, since it doesn't happen that often.
It's kinda funny cuz throughout college I dated latinas and everybody would talk about us as just another couple.

Joanie. Men love women who are feminine. This is what attracts men to women. I am not really into wearing alot of makeup either. But a little lip gloss never hurts.

I really agree. Jackie Chan was a real hottie! I have so many of his movies, the old ones and new ones. Hes still very attractive now. Back then his looks could melt you! What was it about him? I don't know if it was his cute face, or the way he wore his hair. He was just a knockout!
