WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.]
Do not get breast implants. No breasts is better than fake breasts. Women who have at least b cup size and get implants are either stupid or lack self esteem. God damn, I want to throw up when I see those hard, non-moving, too circular, man made pieces of shit. The real thing is heaven no matter how small they are. If your man wants you to get breast implants tell him to go f*** off.

You guys are all tearing away at cosmetic surgery. I still don't agree with boob jobs or nose jobs, but at the same time, many of you drive fancy cars, dress in A/X, apply your expensive makeup and glitter in your jewelry...and yet you disapprove of surgery. Aren't you being hypocrites right there?? You make yourself look better because you are able to with material possessions. Our world indulges in glamour, and with that comes people being vain and greedy. Just because you don't agree with plastic surgery doesn't mean that you arent vain as the next person. Look at it from the other perspective

People always say that Michael Jackson is strange for MANY reasons...but the most common thing said is that "he wanted to be WHITE so he made himself white". After reading about cosmetic surgery and changing Asian features to "anglo-"features I realise that people in this world are just jealous because Michael could do something that their non-white, self-hatin', punk asses couldn't do!
no offense to anyone.

For those of you that don't favor plastic surgery!!! It's their bodies!!!! They do what they want, you have nothing to be angry about!!! If you are angry, I think you are jealous that people that have plastice surgery will look better than you! The most important reward after some kind of plastic surgery is that you feel happier; You're more self-confident; you love yourself more; you involve in more social activities; and you will be more successful in life...etc.. Don't you see? goodlooking people are the most successful!!! ugly people usually stay home and don't involve in social activities; they feel ashamed of their looks and that makes them not so
successful in life! So Last Word! It's their bodies they do What They Want!!! You have nothing to be angry about!!! You live in this world only once! So Try to do anything that makes yourself HAPPY like...making yourself more beautiful..etc..!!! You don't have to be miserable!!! If you don't do things that make yourself happy , then I think your life in this world is meaningless, you should die right today!

Cosmetic surgery is the most disgusting thing in the world and the fact that there are thousands of people subjecting themselves to this barbaric practice is a very sad and pathetic commentary on our society. People are all beautiful in their own little way and there's always at least one person out there in this "big" world who will find you attractive. Who cares about conforming to societal standards of beauty and looking like what these damn t.v. shows and movies tell you you should look like. This society is so pathetic when there are thousands of people so vain and weak that they can't understand and accept themselves and they have to go out and pay a butcher to cut them up and move around their flesh. And that's essentially what it comes down to. You don't like yourself and you want to be like someone else hoping it will make you a better person. Seems to me that your head is more screwed up than your body though!

Before you strike at me, hear me out. I had my eyes done last year and I hated the way they looked before. I had reasons for getting the double lid done because I'm not that vain to get it done just so i can look different. However, it was a plus. Heck, I'm terrified of needles. I play sports, I have to wear contacts. you don't understand how hard to is when you can't put in contacts and having eyelashes constantly falling into your eyes. I put up with the pain of surgery last summer before going to college so the transition was less.
However, now that I look back, I don't regret getting it done. My friends don't really care because they know me, and my family friends think my eyes look so much better. I don't have the tired look to me now. I like them so much more. A couple years back I was strongly against the procedure also until the chance was given to me.
Vietnamese Guy ~ if you're going to get it done, ask about the cost first and where you're going to do it. Asian eyes are different. TO might have some good places. It is costly, not sure how much, but somewhere in the 1000 i'm guessing. I got mine done in Taiwan. Got other questions or other people to scream at me, go ahead. post away

to vietnamese guy:
i don't think ur single eyelids are due to any 'chinese ancestry.' obviously u haven't been around many chinese ppl. about 90% of all my chinese friends have double eyelids. and to have surgery just to look like the rest of yr family? that's unreasonable. u would b denying yr genes by altering yr look.

Asian women, please stop with the cosmetic surgery. Please stop! You look great already!
I know this Vietnamese lady who made changes to her face, added a nose ridge, and perhaps even changed her eyes. Seeing her after the operation, I was so sad and sickened.
And there is no going back (reversal) for many of these operations!!!!!!!
If you're really determined to change your body artificially, go ask some guy if he likes girls who get cosmetic surgeries (instead of asking girlfriends). You may find out that us guys are not into this AT ALL.

I'm a Vietnamese Guy with single eyelids. I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters, and All of them have double eyelids and are goodlooking. Not that people with double eyelids are goodlooking, tons of people with double eyelids but they are still not goodlooking. One of my brother "john" is as goodlooking as Aaron Kwok or better, no lie! If you don't believe me, email me at mneyman2k@yahoo.com and I'll send you a photo of him or me if you want. I am still goodlooking with those single eyelids but I just hate 'em! Both my parents have double eyelids. One of my uncle had single eyelids althouth my grandparents had double eyelids! I think we still have chinese gene in our blood from my ancestry! My father has full beard but only one of my brothers "john" and I have full beard. this gene thing is so strange!
I guess I'm gonna have eyelid plastic surgery so that I don't stand out in my family. Does anyone know what much eyelid plastic surgery for single eyelids cost? If you had it done would you please tell me about it... like how long it takes for the eyes to heal...

just wanted to add one more thing:
Watch the surgery channel -- after you see how crude an op it is to get the boob job, you really won't want to get it done.
Incision,
shoe horn in to loosen the skin
insert bag of dangerous liquid
sew you up
now you're "beautiful"

before anyone considers getting any cosmetic surgery --check out the discovery channel/or whatever channel it is that carries the operations... it's so sickening that it'll discourage only the most die-hard surgery fan!
They did eyelid surgery and breast augmentation, and it was so digusting, I am most definitely cured of any wishes for either procedure.
the girl who got her eyelids done looked pretty good before she did it, even though she had single lids, she looked good. After, there was practically no difference in the overall appearance --sure they were "double" but so what? they weren't any better --I don't think it seemed worth it!
and as for the gross out breast augmentation surgery... ouch!! it looked so rough! and the thought of committing to lifelong replacements every few years is just so unbearable to even think about!
I agree with the writer who said to gain weight. When you're too skinny due to athletics, you could possibly be keeping yourself from developing as much as might otherwise get... and then if after you've gained, you want to get more definition back, just tone up again and you'll have some leftover fat in the boob dept. (worked for me)

I am an imperfect AAF at 5'5"/128lbs. I've considered breast augmentation but rejected the thought of carrying an alien fluid in my body. My mom-in-law just had hers done recently at $3K, and let me tell you! She couldn't moved her arms very much for 2 months due to the surgery - mopping the floors, lifting stuff, raising her arms, sweeping, vacuuming... it baffles me to see that they're willing to go through so much pain to look beautiful/gain self-esteem. Breast augmentation is NOT A ONE-TIME operation! you'd either have to remove or replace them in 3-6 years, which means experiencing periods of pain again! they could also cause you sickness and backache for carrying the falsies in your body. my advice: lose your tummy, tone your abdomen, and your lower breasts girth will reduce to get you a higher cup size. :) you women know what i'm talking about!! good luck!

To the korean-looking girl in Sweden and the Filipina's daughter: please send me a picture of you (my email: chx000@bigfoot.com ). While I'll probably never meet any of you (living wrong end of the planet), I know I like most of the ways Asian women tend to look (as many as I could see on TV so far), despite, or probably rather because I'm not Asian myself, so seing you would make me happy. :)

Bleh to breast implants! Try watching those nasty botched surgery stuff on TV sometime! If you're really skinny and really self conscious about wanting bigger boobs, try putting on a bit of weight. I used to be 5'3" 95 lbs in HS (was really into sports and all that ... plus a high metabolism ... too skinny!), now 5'4" 100-105lbs 36C ... but it can vary where you put on/lose fat first.

asiophile- yeah, unfortunately asians are more prone to developing keloids. my aunt, a stunningly gorgeous woman, has only one noticable imperfection- a big, raised keloid on the side of her thigh. i think it's hereditary; i get keloids too. when i was younger i got keloids all over my stomach from chicken-pox and i was pretty distraught. i had laser surgery to have them removed and so did my sister. the healing didn't turn out right, and the keloids just came back. but for my sister, the scar on her back from the laser surgery turned out so much worse than the removed keloid- and now she has a huge raised scar the size of a silver dollar coin. so if you're considering any kind of cosmetic surgery, please think about the consequences before you go right into it. because it's very possible that your 'imperfection' may end up infinitely worse than before the surgery.
