Epstein Had Poached Young Women from Mar-a-Lago Club Spa

The narrative around Trump's relationship with Epstein is complicated by the revelation that it ended because Epstein repeatedly poached young female spa workers.
On Tuesday Donald Trump himself stirred up more questions by telling reporters on Air Force One that he kicked convicted child molester Jeffrey Epstein out of his Mar-a-Lago Club after he poached young female masseuses from the club's spa.
Among the poached women was Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre who committed suicide on April 25, 2025 at her farm near Perth, Australia at the age of 41. After the Epstein scandal became public Giuffre had become an author and advocate for sexual abuse victims. Just days before the suicide Giuffre revealed that she had just "four days to live" due to injuries sustained in a bus accident.
“Listen, we don’t want you taking our people, whether it was spa or not spa,” Trump had told reporters on Monday about his expulsion of Epstein from his Club. “And then not too long after that he did it again and I said, ‘outta here.’”
“I think she worked at the spa,” Trump said when asked if one of the poached employees was Virginia Giuffre. “I think that was one of the people, yeah. He stole her.”
“The fact is that the president kicked [Epstein] out of his club for being a creep,” White House communications director Stephen Cheung had told reporters last week.
The reason for the falling out between Trump and Epstein differs from what had been recounted for a 2019 Washington Post article after Epstein's arrest. The friends had had a falling out after engaging in cutthroat competition to buy out of bankruptcy an oceanfront property called Maison de l’Amitié, Trump had explained.
The differing accounts suggest Trump had not been candid about his relationship with Epstein or about early knowledge of Epstein's relations with the young women who were later found to have been minor victims of Epstein's long running acts of child molestation and sexual assaults.
Long before the 2019 arrest Trump had made comments about Epstein's sexual inclinations, saying he “likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”
These new revelations by Trump would likely feed more furor over the Trump administration's flipflopping on the contents of the Epstein investigation files which Trump had promised to disclose fully before a recent decision to keep it closed.
