The Indian British actor’s star quality has shone from his breakout role on iZombie to collaborations with Mike Flanagan and his dream gaming roles.

Indian British actor Rahul Kohli stars in the 2025 Amazon Prime series We Were Liars which has now been confirmed for season 2.  He was also cast in the star-studded Netflix film The Electric State.

Kohli previously starred in the short lived 2024 Hulu series Death and Other Details and in the 2022 film Next Exit.

He is also recognized for his frequent TV miniseries collaborations with filmmaker Mike Flanagan which include The Haunting of Bly Manor in 2020, Midnight Mass in 2021, The Fall of the House of Usher in 2023, and the upcoming series Carrie scheduled for 2026.

Kohli’s acting career began in 2008 with an appearance in the television documentary series My Holiday Hostage Hell and continued with roles in the British dramas Holby City in 2012 and EastEnders in 2013.

Kohli is still best known for his breakout TV role as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti in the CW supernatural dramedy series iZombie.  He appeared in all 71 episodes over 5 seasons from 2015 to 2019.

He’s also making his mark with video games.  He was cast in 2023’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III as “Roops” Kapoor and has a voice role as The Origin in the video game 2021’s Fortnite.  In the highly anticipated video game Saros, slated for release in March 2026, he is cast as protagonist Arjun Devraj.  Kohli has called this a “dream come true” as gaming was his first love.
