2025 Asian Halloween Costume Guide
By Kelli Luu | 11 Oct, 2025

Here’s a roundup of pop culture's most iconic Asian characters that you can dress up as for Halloween this year.

If you haven’t found your Halloween costume this year yet, here is your ultimate Asian Halloween Costume guide.

Starting off with some timely suggestions.

Rumi, Mira, Zoey from K-Pop Demon Hunters, Netflix’s number one animated movie. The girls wore fierce and vibrant outfits throughout the film and neon accessories or matching wigs will complete the look. It’s the perfect bit for any trio.

Simu Liu represented the Asian community in the Barbie movie, so if you’re in need of a couple’s costume, Barbie and Ken screams confidence and charisma.

For something simple and mysterious, a Squid Game Guard is the ideal Halloween costume. It’s recognizable and can be incorporated into a group costume with others dressing up as Squid Game players.

Next up are some iconic characters that will radiate that nostalgic feeling.

From the Fast and the Furious franchise, Suki is the 2000s cool girl. Her pink flare pants and purple tank make it easy to bring back the Y2K glam.

Then we have Scarlett Sinister from the Halloweentown movie series on Disney Channel. Scarlett has an attitude and a sparkly wardrobe. Wear dark colors or leopard print and don’t be shy with the red lipstick.

Lucy Liu plays O-Ren Ishii from the classic movie Kill Bill and she was both graceful and deadly. A white kimono and a katana is all you need for any movie-goer to recognize who you are dressed up as this year.

Another 2000s diva you can go as is the one and only London Tipton from Disney Channel’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Throw on a colorful beret and matching scarf and pair it with a cute mini bag with dangling purse charms.

To round up this part of the list we have one of the most beloved Asian characters on television, Glen Rhee from The Walking Dead. You probably already have a flannel shirt in your closet. Complete the look with a baseball cap and if you really want to get into the Halloween spirit, splatter some fake blood over your outfit.

From the big screens to the stadiums, next on this list is Steve Aoki, world renowned DJ and producer who is the cake-throwing king. Channel the Aoki energy with his long hair, a tank top, and a fake cake prop so everyone knows who you are.

To finish out our costume guide we have the Dodger dynasty. Ohtani, Yamamoto, and Sasaki have been powerhouse players for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Head out solo as the city’s MVP or with your friends as the Big Three from Japan.
