The Rise of Asian Fusion Foods
By Kelli Luu | 02 Nov, 2025

These creative Asian fusion dishes taking over the food scene, combining global flavors in every bite.

Cultures are meeting one another in kitchens in this new era of fusion foods. Let’s take a look at some of the boldest Asian fusions being found on restaurant menus.

Number 5: Birria Ramen

It’s the ultimate fusion comfort bowl that blends ramen noodles with birria consomé broth. The slow cooked beef goes great with chewy noodles creating a warming experience that bridges two popular authentic dishes.

Number 4: Tom Yum Spaghetti

Thailand and Italy have come together to create a tasteful pairing. Tom yum’s creamy coconut and lemongrass seasoning  add a punch of flavor to al dente noodles and the citrus compliments traditional tomato sauce nicely.

Number 3: Kimchi Quesadilla

This crispy tortilla is stuffed with melted cheese and flavorful kimchi. The balance of crunch and tanginess makes the perfect flavor explosion and each bite will give you that satisfying cheese pull along with some spicy kimchi.

Number 2: Poke Tacos & Burritos

These tacos and burritos have an exciting twist to them as poke restaurants have created handheld versions of their bowls. You can get all your favorite poke toppings wrapped in a thick layer of rice, giving us a completely new way to enjoy our food and a colorful Instagram post.

Number 1: Banh Mi Sliders

Inspired by the iconic Vietnamese sandwich, these banh mi sliders just make sense. They’re bite sized sandwiches filled with savory meat and pickled veggies allowing foodies to get that flawless bite every time.
